What attracted you to the financial services industry?
I knew in high school that I wanted to major in business, but didn’t quite know the area in which I wanted to concentrate. After a couple of finance classes in college, I was hooked. I enjoyed studying the science of money management, creation, and distribution. In particular, I developed an appreciation for investing and the relationship between risk and reward.
How did you get into Wealth Management?
After helping my mother through a challenging period following the passing of my father in 2011, I took a deeper look into who I wanted to serve. Previously I had been working with institutional clients. My experience with my mother showed me the care needed for those in her situation. It inspired me to use my talents in finance and my compassionate nature to help at a more intimate level with individuals and families.
What is your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part is connecting with others. I love helping people achieve their goals and alleviate their concerns. Relationships are very important to me and I enjoy building new ones.
